NWLS offers clinic-type programs for eligible clients wishing to
initiate a custody action. The custody
clinic classes are conducted by NWLS staff attorneys
and clients are provided with blank forms and instructions on filing a pro
se action.
In Venango County, clinic participants will also view the videotape that was produced
by the Court of Common Pleas of Venango County in cooperation with the local bar
association. This video provides basic instruction to parents on how to
represent themselves through the process of custody.
We also offer a Clinic for eligible clients wishing
to file a a no-fault divorce action. The clinic classes provide clients with blank
forms, sample pleadings and instruction on filing a pro se actions.
In Erie County, the divorce clinics are conducted by
Erie Legal Aid Volunteer (pro bono) Attorneys.
