| Sally M., an adult
client of Stairways Behavioral Health in Erie, attended a
community education seminar on “employee rights” facilitated
by the NWLS community educator. “I learned what rights I
have as an employee with a disability,” Sally commented
after the presentation. In addition to her attendance at the NWLS educational seminar, Sally was also served by NWLS in
an unemployment compensation hearing. “Free legal aid and
community legal education give me hope that there is some
help available for people in Erie,” Sally reported. |
